Section 1
1. Diagnostic Fee & Dispatch Services

Our standard diagnostic evaluation covers technician travel, system testing, fault isolation, and an upfront repair estimate.

  • The diagnostic fee is due upon technician arrival and completion of the diagnostic inspection.
  • If you approve the recommended repair during the initial diagnostic visit, the diagnostic fee is credited directly toward your total labor charge.
  • Technicians evaluate the appliance using certified manufacturer troubleshooting guidelines and testing tools.
  • Second trips required due to custom built-in configurations, unapproved third-party modifications, or secondary unrelated defects will be quoted before additional work begins.
Section 2
2. Pricing, Estimates & Parts Ordering

We provide flat-rate job pricing so you know the full cost before any repair begins.

  • All repair estimates are itemized and valid for 30 calendar days from the date of initial inspection.
  • Special-order OEM components require upfront payment prior to supplier dispatch and cannot be canceled once shipped by the factory.
  • Dunwoody Appliance Repair sources new, factory-certified OEM replacement parts. We do not install customer-supplied, salvage, or uncertified aftermarket components.
  • Sales tax and environmental recycling fees for displaced refrigerants or electrical components are itemized on your final receipt.
Section 3
3. 90-Day Limited Warranty & Limitations

All completed repairs are supported by our standard 90-day parts and labor service guarantee.

  • Coverage applies strictly to the exact part installed and the specific labor performed on the original work order.
  • Warranty does not cover pre-existing appliance failures, secondary component wear, power surges, water pressure spikes, rodent damage, or commercial misuse of residential machines.
  • If a warranted part fails within 90 days, we replace the component with zero labor charges after verifying defect eligibility.
  • Customer tampering, unauthorized third-party repairs, or moving the appliance after service voids all active warranty protections.
Section 4
4. Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations

Flexible appointment windows are scheduled to respect your day while maintaining prompt local response.

  • We provide 2-to-4-hour arrival windows with a complimentary 30-minute courtesy call or SMS prior to arrival.
  • Cancellations or appointment adjustments require at least 3 hours notice prior to the start of your scheduled arrival window.
  • Late cancellations with a technician already en route or unattended properties are subject to a standard dispatch trip fee.
  • Emergency service slots or weekend requests may be subject to prevailing after-hours scheduling rates, confirmed prior to booking.
Section 5
5. Property Access, Site Safety & Liability

Safe and unimpeded access to the appliance ensures smooth inspection and protects your residence.

  • An adult aged 18 or older must remain on the premises for the entire duration of the diagnostic and repair visit.
  • Homeowners are responsible for clearing items from on top, inside, and surrounding the appliance (including full food removal for refrigeration units).
  • Dunwoody Appliance Repair carries full general liability and workers' compensation coverage for in-home services.
  • We are not liable for incidental pre-existing cosmetic flaws, flooring scuffs caused by previously leaking or jammed units, or hidden water pipe corrosion behind cabinetry.
Section 6
6. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

Clear terms governed by local laws ensure prompt, fair, and transparent handling of all customer inquiries.

  • This agreement and all repair engagements are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Georgia.
  • Any unresolved disputes or claims arising out of this agreement shall be settled in the jurisdiction of DeKalb County, Georgia.
  • Both parties agree to make a good-faith attempt to resolve any customer service inquiry via our Dunwoody management team before formal mediation.
  • In the event of formal collection proceedings for unpaid completed invoices, the customer agrees to cover reasonable recovery costs permitted by Georgia law.
